The Dark Knight,probably the best movies this year but what(in my opinion)made this movie so great was the Joker(portrayed by Heath Ledger).So which one was better Jack Nicholson's 1989 portraying of the Joker or Heath Ledger's?

Jack Nicholson's version was more creative, and actually quite fun and endearing. I enjoyed his performance more.

Ledger's performance was also great, just not as great. His version was obviously alot more psychotic.

They really are about impossible to compare, becuase the performances are apples and oranges, but nevertheless I give the nudge to Jack

ok I bought The Dark Knight on Blu Ray Disk and just watched Batman from 1989 and Heath Ledger's joker was better
