Dear Premium Members -
I am looking for 10-15 Platinum and or Diamond Members (maybe a couple Gold too) to join our Chess.com/TV Moderator Group.
You will be given Moderator Access of the TV Chat, to be used *only* for that purpose. You will join our group and learn the proper protocol to moderating a show. Your efforts will be greatly appreciated in helping make Chess.com (and ChessTV) a better place.
You will be managed by Kansha and Kohai mainly, with a time to time check in by me!
Thanks! If you are interested and meet the requirements of at least Gold or higher, please send Kansha a message explaining why you think you'd do a good job. He will respond and give you permission to join the group.
Thank you for your interest and good luck :)
Are you allowed to degrade after becoming a Moderator?
can I join?
How much time commitment is required?
No more commitment than a few shows per month, but you just need to understand the proper way to deal with an abusive member. When to be lenient and give warnings and when to ban them, etc
Thank you :)
Danny, is it possible to degrade after becoming a Moderator? Thanks.
What exactly do you mean by degrade?
Heah; lets keep it clean; this is a family site. I want to be a mod, but only on odd numbered Wednesdays, when its raining. Sorry Danny
Kansha, I am asking if I can degrade to basic or Gold after joining? Thanks.
I would be interested :)
I sent my message that I am interested :)
If you at one point wish to resign your position as a chessTV moderator, then the answer is yes, you can.
i would be willing
I would be thinking...
I've seen many a **** and many an abusive post. But really. I barely watch the whole thing (no offense, they're just long), and also, a question. When I see someone clear the chat, do mods do that or staff?
For those of you who are asking if they can join, feel free to message me :)
A page refresh usually causes a chat clear :)
