I want to download some chess.com videos to play on my iPod but wonder if it's allowed?  Anyone tried this already? 

No it's not allowed, but if you have an iPod touch, the chess.com iPhone app will play them for you. :-)

the iPhone app lists videos ambiguously ... for instance, no way to differentiate between 10 videos beginning with "Rook Endgames: Beginner to Master ... ".   Are there plans to remedy this problem?  Does chess.com acknowledge this is a problem?

I think you should care about iPhone owners experience of premium content because they are one of very few groups with the money to buy it.

we can't allow download, but perhaps we can do a better job with the video titles on the iphone app. good point!

The Chess.com iPhone app leaves so much to be desired. Sometimes, it crashes and exits, sometimes it fails to refresh online games, and when you're watching videos the screen just blacks out a few minutes into the video. It needs radical improvement.
