i was just wondering how many of us there are now? Best $29 i have ever spent!! i am totally hooked on this site, i even deleted blitzin off my pc now as i just dont want to visit ICC anymore, this site simply blows ICC out of the water as far as an all round site goes, once the live bit is ironed out there will be no competition at all!! well done erik and co. :-)))

glad to hear it you are enjoying it! how many paying members are there? honestly - not enough. i expected to be able to at least cover costs. still, i'm having a good time. i just wish more people would say "$30 or $80 for Chess.com??? that's the cheapest price per hour entertainment available!!" i think it is :)

Great site!  I'm enjoying the unlimited Tactics trainer, about an hour into my 3 hours of Mentor, and Explorer.

Unlimited tourny entries, start tournies, multiple conditional moves, etc. etc.

Dvaud does recommend!

Love the site, the depth of features here is unmatched. I particularly like the tactics trainer, play vs. the computer, current chess news on login. How many premium members are there? No idea, but I have switched my membership from chessworld.net and am not sorry. Keep up the good work! How long before live chess becomes available to those of us who use IE as our browser?

Agreed.  Best cash I've spent, and by FAR the best chess site on the web!  I have more fun here than I do at the local chess club :)

Keep up the great work, chess.com staff!

Cannot agree more with the comments above.

If you like Chess and use this site regulary, then why not pay the $29.

I dont normally pay for site access unless it is worth doing or is very good, Chess.com is just superb. Great community and the layout is great.

Keep the site going, support Chess.com, become a premium member.

WOOT just subscribed. So glad I was finaly able to do this. Not only cuz of the features but cuz ive been wanting to support this website for a while. I recently found out how much it would cost to make a website of good quality, getting the name out, and maintaining one and its not cheap.

So thank you for making this sight, and im glad that I can finaly show my apperitation where it counts XD.

I second the posts above. It's a great site, and it deserves support! We cannot expect people to work always for the glory...

Also: I *love* seeing here what I loved in WorldChessNetwork (God bless the poor dead thing), in particular the "Vote Chess" (that in WCN was called Community Challenge). I also love the "Online chess" feature, because I am trying to improve, and I recognize I need to ponder on each and every move, if I want to increase my depth of analysis.

And this seems a very nice community which, in the end, is the most important thing!

Kudos to all!

Andrea

On a value for money basis, it's one of the best investments I ever made.

I mean I must be down to $.0001 per hour by now and I'm only about half way through my year!

I would just like to say that I purchased my premium membership not only for the extra benefits, but mainly because I wanted to support this site.  I am still new to the game, but I have enjoyed myself a great deal here at chess.com, and being here has made me want to improve my game.

Thanks for a great site, keep up the good work!

I did the math: platinum membership costs less than 1¢ per hour. I've never seen prices like that before! (22¢/day, for platinum)

Love the site. It's the one and only place I've looked . I don't shop around because it has anything I want. The staff works well and fast to correct problems. (I've had only one and the response was good.)
