I'm thinking of cancelling my premium membership

and I'm wondering how that will affect a chess group that I super admin.

They'll all be devastated I am sure.

Just make sure that you make someone a SA of that group before you leave.

Does one of the remaining supers have to be a premium member?

No I don't think so.

I've been cleaning up my group memberships and I have one I'm stuck in (chess.com won't let me leave) because I'm the only Super Admin and also the only premium member so I can't assign another SA. I wonder what happens in your case when an SA has his premium status lapse.

You might try to find another premium member to take over the group.

Thanks everyone for your comments, but I really would like to hear from a Chess.com administrator.  Lack of official support is the only thing that I don't like about the site - everything else about it is great.

Serously, though, anyone know how to leave a group when your the only SA and the only premium member?  I don't even know how I got to be SA.
