Does anyone else think that the statistics page can have more stuff? I was hoping for some sort of statistic showing the percentage of different openings I've been using.

Thanks erik. I know what you mean, and it's a good feature. But I was hoping for a list or pie chart in the stats page, like:

25% Ruy Lopez

25% Sicilian

30% English

20% King's Gambit

I think a good addition to the stats page would be top 5 wins.

Are you asking for a percentage of your own games, as you said: openings I've been using" and not the explorer percentages of the moves? which is what chess.com has on record?

Just curious.

yes, just my own games, as I'd be curious after a while to see my own repertoire...of course i can also record each game myself...but i'd rather see it on the stats page

You made it clear to me and I fully support your request, it would be interesting to know our own strengths by openings we played.

I would suggest additionally to have several ways of sorting the stats gor our own games:

1. By openings all games played.

2. By opening color, meaning when we play black or white.

3. By opponents we played against. Here I mean a table that would show for example a given opening say the king's pawn for white in the first column, 1.e4 we all know.

The next column would show the percentage of all games played, next column the player name that played against us in alphabetical order with a sub-menu allowing to do a specific search by name only to display a specific player and possibly allowing up to maybe 20 players to be displayed and the third column would show the number of games played, next column the number of wins and the last column shows the percentage of wins and I do not think that decimals are needed, just a rounded of number is sufficient  like 66%.

This information can be used to better ourselves by working on improving our openings weakenesses or selecting a lesser amount of the openings we use and replacing with new openings, which from now on we can view their performance.

I do have other suggestions as to the benefits of such stats and would like to hear from others their suggestions.
