Eight(!) months ago I discovered an issue with Paypal and German users. Which issue? Well, German users simply cannot afford membership. See http://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/paypal-payment-does-not-work for details.

Today I wanted to upgrade to Platinum-30-days, I have enough membership credit to do so, but your Paypal issue does not let me. I will also sent you 0.01€ via Paypal declaring my wish.

It‘s really sad, that this problem is still not fixed. You may loose some German premium users, so the money you maybe would need to invest to fix this, would return to you quickly.
