I think it is more interesting to play in a team than single "Let's play!" games. More responsibility when you are part of a team and more competing spirit. As for me playing for my country team is very important as well as for everybody on this site I guess.

Team matches are fun, however you should be careful not to accidentally get paired up with a master because of an imbalance (but if you like to play much higher rated people, it is no big deal).
