what's the situation re: upgrading your account. Do I pay the difference between what I have already paid and what the new level is? If so, when does it expire? etc.

yes - you pay a prorated amount and the expiration date is that of your original premium membership date.

Hi Erik - will it work this out auto if I go for an upgrade?

Another question - suppose I wanted to invest some money in chess.com. How would I go about it?

 yes, it will work it out auto.

 as for investments, there are two ways. #1 - bring us some burritos. that will get you 40% of chess.com. you can buy the remaining 60% if you will just convince our wives that this whole project hasn't been a waste of time. :)

Ok - I pay via paypal. If I click the upgrade option it works out the difference but doesn't give me the option to use paypal. If I click pay via pay pal, it doesn't work out the difference and wants to charge me the full whack for platinum. How to resolve this?
