Not sure if this has been posted before, but how come the 100 page limit applies on the main site, but not on groups?

Many group forums go over 100 pages and the comments that go past 100 pages are still viewable, but on the main site with threads over 100 pages, you get sent back to the 100th page when you try to go past 100 pages.

I can't understand why it applies anywhere.  Doesn't it kind of defeat the whole point of pagination in the first place?

Because they split the code-base when they built the groups, so some features and bug fixes were applied in one area but not the other.

Do you know that it doesn't apply to forum topics in groups?  It may....

What?  Wait... I was pretty sure yesterday when I checked I kept getting sent back to the 100th page...

Oh well, I guess Chess.com took out the 100-page limit for forum topics, not sure why...
