On Monday another site announced a youtube clip contest.  Their prize is a one year membership (slightly less than the prize offered here) and a free month for any who enter.  The contest ends 1-1-12 as does the one here.  I believe this is the first time the other site has done such a thing.

Has chess.com done this before?  Is this a coincidence or something else?  tia

I suppose that the other site recognise a good idea, when they see it.
