I've been a paying member here for a while now and I remain very satisfied overall with chess.com. -- The redesign has been an easy adjustment.  But, is there some way to save my preferences of board color and pieces for playing against the computer? The default colors are a board of insane asylum green and tuberculosis ward ochre and the pieces are the special blobby ugly peice font. Everytime I play a game against the computer I have to set to the nice blue and white board and the cleanly drawn pieces. It's not a big deal, I know. World peace. Hunger. Medecine to the needy -- those things matter -- who cares about  5 seconds setting some chess pieces and a chess board color? What lazy whining entitled sort of person even bothers to complain about such an issue?  Me. I do. I want my preferences saved. Please address this important issue before I pout myself to death.

If you change your Online Chess Settings to match any of the Play Computer settings, it will use them.  For example, if you choose Wood-Medium in your settings, it will come up on the Play Computer every time.

Thank you! I knew there had to be some simple solution. I haven't played any online chess for ages so it must have at some point gotten reset to default.
