The Games In Progress count is handy, but perhaps a more directly useful indicator would be the count of games where it's my turn to move. This could be displayed above the list of current games ...
Including the count of waiting and vacation games would be the icing on the cake!
I think this is a fine idea.
A great idea for those - of whom I used to be one - who have a huge number of games on at once.
A spoken "silly boy!" would work as well as the counter, I suppose.
The new format has this feature. Huzzah!
