I KNOW THAT ANNOTATING ones game is one of the best methods of improving.Kasparov would even do his blitz games. I need the million plus player site to help me[coach] to organize steps to the process. What/when/where do you write to provide
a good annotation? I thought with so many players; this site would be an excellent resource for lots of good ideas. Send your thoughts to [chesskia@bellsouth.net] or write them here. IDEAS FROM BEGINNERS TO EXPERT WILL BE WECOMED. I will collect what I find/receive and put it together for the whole site to use. Please take this serious. I love our site and this could make an excellent free download for us all.Sources to find ideas/info will be greatly appreciated. lets put our heads together and come up with an excellent product.I have seen some fine annotations on this site. PLEASE share with us/me.GOD BLESS and TAKE CARE!

Some ideas:
1) Go through the game twice, the first time annotating "on your own", the second time using a strong engine to find errors in your own annotation. Write what was missed, why, and possible causes/remedies.
2) Annotate for both sides, white and black. Write down what you were expectiong the opponent to play. When did the opponent surprise you?
3) If possible, note when you ran into time trouble.
4) Include "grand plans" in the annotation, not just short term plans.
5) Do a summary after the game is fully annotated, with action points to be taken, such as "learn rook vs. two pawns ending", "investigate the Ruy Lopez Exchange line with ....", "practice with the Tactics Trainer more", etc.
6) After several games were annotated, try to find the general weaknesses in your play. Ask yourself, "what is my greatest weakness."
Dear Mr. Crazy you are the first resonse with exactly what I'm looking for. Ihope for more .THANKYOU!
