STONEL
Several times in the last week or so I have hit a situation where I am ahead of my opponent. suddenly he loses contact sand never returns. this results in the program charging me with a loss even though I had plenty of time on the board and the opponent zeroed out. Also in some cases the opponent is off for four or five minutes without losing any time.

That sounds odd. If I understand what you are saying. You say he 'loses contact'. Do you mean that he goes offline? After this happens can you click on his name? That will tkae you to his home page. Does it show ther that he won the game with you? If so tomething is really wrong with the site.
Also you say that he 'zeroed out'. Do you mean that he ran out of time? Or was about to run out of time? Either way, his going off line should not have stopped his clock and you should have won not lost the game. This is wwhere we need to contact the tournament director. But if it was not a tournament game, the next question is did you lose rating point?
It should not be possible for him to be offline for several minutes without losing time.
If you don't have a tournament director, there must be a site administrator to contact. I don't know how to tell you hoaw to do that. I am new here myself.

I've been playing your and it's your move and you seem to me absent. I wonder if you're having a connection issue yourself.
