Short clips of instructional videos are simply a bait without content.
There is no way to assess the value of a video presented as an advertisement when the content is only about 20% of the full video.
I have mentioned this before and to attract members to upgrade perhaps a once in 3 months full time video would give a better taste of what to expect from upgrading.
I am, as i said before prepared to upgrade if I can see a full video and perhaps other members are as: well they just have not expressed their thinking as this is a chess site to play chess games and a number of members just simply do not bother to write their opinion and open a forum.
Good marketing I think is offering a full preview of some videos to be able to convince and motivate us into upgrading our membership.
With an instructional video of 20% off the full content, how can anyone evaluate the value of upgrading?
It is similar to watching 20% of a movie and expecting someone to understand the full movie.
It is like listening to 20% of a conversation at a party or gathering and expect someone to understand the full conversation or topic.
In other words and simply give us the full content of some videos, you select the frequency and the number of videos that should be full length.
Car dealers offer you a free on the road test to assess a car and up to 2 hours of driving if you want to.
Grocery store offer substantial reductions on targeted items to entice us to buy them.
Liquor stores offer free sample of wine to get us to buy the product.
Some companies offer free product samples to attract customers such as in perfumes etc.
An additional way to promote chess instructional videos is to give information on the specific instructor, her/his chess master rating level, specialty in the game: opening, middle game or end game, years of experience and tournaments won.
Communications is all about and only all about the message that is transmitted, no nothing else, really.
Bottom line is give us a full sample of what to expect if we upgrade to diamond level, I will upgrade provided sufficient material of full length videos are provided.
I am not questioning at all the value of the instructional videos, I am merely and honestly expressing my view on seeing a full video before I buy the horse.

There is a 30-day money back guarantee; you could upgrade to diamond membership, and downgrade again if you reckon it's not worth it.
Another way of trying it out is to buy a one-month diamond membership.
Art, thanks for the info I did not know this, great suggestions.
I will try one.
