Hi guys,

We are going to be making some changes to the current sound-set. The issues we want to address are as follows:

- Simple, pleasant tones for game-start and game-end.

- Make self-move & opponent-move more similar (to avoid the bip-BOP-bip-BOP effect)

- Make castling sound more natural, given the regular move-sounds

Could be a couple of weeks to get the new sounds engineered and implemented.

Again, change is in the wind... Get it? The wind? See what I did there? ;)

Your patience in the meantime is appreciated! :)

It was 27 days ago i.e. on 16 April 2012 chess.com came out with these new sounds. I have found some better chess sites than this. So I now come here occasionally. Our posts are falling to deaf ears.No use now . They are never going to re instate the old sounds.Chess.com is known for its stubborness in the business world.
