Hello Chess.com team, staff and other members. I have a request for an indicator on the ‘My Online Tournaments’ page. What I miss is on the ‘My Current Tournaments’ section a quick indicator to see if I’m still participating in the tours. It crossed my mind that there wouldn’t be place for an extra indicator in the line and I had an idea that would solve that, maybe this a possibility:
Use of colors. What about giving tournaments progress parcentage indicators a color with a meaning so we recognize rapidly what tours need higher attention. For example: green for still participating, orange for eliminated and red for withdraw. My idea looks like this:
(comment to example; I placed the colors randomly, not reflecking the reality) Personally I like the idea, but looking at it in programmer’s minds or not knowing other members wish for it, I do not know if it’s possible to implicate something to indicate the participation activityI think that this idea could be used on the 'Upcoming tournaments' to indicate the registration. Here the indicatiors could mean, green for registrated , red for registrated but outside the tour restrictions.
hoping to hear what the thoughts are. Thanks in advance from the happy Chess.com user. Willy_France

Of course that's right
What is right Kacparov? The fact it could be handy or the wish something like this would be implicated?Hoping to see some comments, improvements or objections against the idea.

I think it's cool. I also wish it was possible to see at a glance how many unofficial tourneys I am playing in, and how many more I'm allowed to enter.

Presumably 'eliminated' only applies to multi-round tournaments - rather than single-round ones where you cannot now reach the top-3 spots?
(Have you seen this discussion my-current-tournaments-where-i-am-eliminated?)
Just seen the thread, thxIt all comes down to the same issue yes, quick overviewing your status. My idea is more like a way of indicating
Green could be, still playingRed as definitive eliminatedOrange could be elimination positionI mean the colors could given a proper (acceptable) indicator.
Looks like a good idea to me.
(There was another colour coding suggestion some time back - though not to do with tournaments).
Would there be any conflict with personalised themes? i.e. some of the coloured values becoming invisible.
I gues not Artfizz, And it is for the user to see different colors, i mean if it turns out to be different on your screen; example, Orange become blue then by you it mean blue for elimination position.I do not change that much of themes, i couldn't know, but i gues that all colors became the same suddenly.
the idea is right no more to add :)
