I know it's been a while already, but I just wanted to ask about the change (which, after several months, I still do not like) of the post-game ratings not being frozen after the end of a game. I figure that if you want to see the current rating, you could just check out each player's profile. It’s not so much that I can’t see what the ratings of each player were after a given game (if I really wanted to know, I could look at the PGN file – I think…). It’s just that I don’t understand WHY this change was made.
Maybe I missed some forum thread, news article, or blog post that mentioned it. Could someone explain why this change was made? Thanks in advance.
