I feel like a "best win" shouldn't count if you win on time and there were only like 5 moves played. You should get credit for the win, but in your stats, and other player's stats, i don't think their "best win" should be against a 2500 player that timed out after 4 moves. There should be some criteria, that if it is a time out, the game must be at least 10 moves and the winner must have been in the lead on points in order for it to count as their "best win".

I agree with you in general but that is a pain and would eventually to be fair have to be people reviewing the game. The lead in points system never works do to position
well then i think there should be a 10 move minimum

I agree as well. Maybe if time out "wins" just aren't included in the "best win" category at all. Period. Wins on time are garbage anyways.

I think more like 20 moves. Is a ten move game ever that great? Especially against a higher rated opponent? Or maybe you have to be up in material when you time out....
I concede the "up in material" argument to the fact that someone could easily sac their queen and be in a mate in 2 situation but then time out.
Maybe there should be a "best win by resignation or checkmate" and "best win on time".
