"Best Win" not likely

I often like to check out other player's stats and one of my favorite is my opponent's "Best Win".  i get to see how my advisory plays at his best.  It seems from my observation that allot of peoples best wins were from their opponent's time outs and not from good play.  if i were playing a much higher rating opponent and doing well, i would feel robbed if i won by the clock.

I see what you are getting at . My best win is a game I was going to lose , but I won on time. This is a shame because it wiped out my previous best win against a 2000 rated player , in which I did actually beat him.

Maybe Chess.com can look into this !

My best win was against a guy who did not seem to be playing to his fullest from the start, and after losing some material, he plainly lost any interest in winning.

But that's the thing with statistics, they cannot measure your actual ability, they can only show indicators of it. Otherwise we could just have one number and the baseball announcers wouldn't have anything to talk about.

I don't see how anyone remembers their wins, or losses! Now...what was I talking about?
