Can we add 2 12 back? It's by far my favorite way to play. Maybe I missed the option, but it doesn't seem there anymore :(

Once you've played one game of 2|12 a button will appear allowing you to constantly use that to create 2|12 games instead of having to manually create them each time. It will appear to the side of your game once the first one ends.
many thanks!!

I would like to be able to set the rating range to 0.
Also when I try to join a chatroom nothing happens. Anyone else having this problem?
Is the chatroom you're trying to access already open on the row of tabs?
I switched from chrome to firefox. Now it works.

Uggh, the new layout is awful. You've lost some of the key functionality for selecting games and the board is too big.
Seriously this is so shocking it's untrue. Is there a way we can get it back to how it was? The board is too big for my peripheral vision, i can't see all the pieces, i have to hold the screen away from me but that is hard on a laptop. The chat window is far too small so you can't see anything that's been said. I shouldn't have to adjust the scroll to make the screen suitable for me, that is a basic web design golden rule.

I'm very displeased with the new chess interface. I greatly enjoy playing relaxing chess when I get done with work. I use it to untense myself. As a result I generally play down because the last thing I want to do after I've worked all day is play a really hard mind-racking game of chess. Before, we could offer a game to lower ranked players (some of which thoroughly trounced me ) and just enjoy quick low thought games. But there is no allowance for that in the new interface. You can't play down or play up. Furthermore, it only encourages people to throw games to get their ratings down if they want to play down. That was already a problem before, but now, it's bound to become rampant. I confess the thought occurred to me and I've never been one to even consider the possibility before because I think it's just not right. People should know the level their playing but also have the choice to play up or play down.

maybe if I was a paying member I would enjoy it more, but after one game, I already miss the "old" way,,

Hi,
I cannot believe there are people who give this a thumbs up. As remarked on before, some key functionality is being lost, the main one being exactly specifying rating of opponent. The chat is indeed to small, an although I have disabled this function, there still is some important info being conveyed there. For example, how the game is rated. As it comes to this in the new GUI this is rather unintuitive, so I ended up playing a rated game, without even knowing this (Pressing the 10min button gives a rated game. I think keeping the same as was previously played is more intuitive). Also, where have the little antenna's gone to indicate someone is online ? That was useful.
Is it technically still possible that we can be offered a choice between old-style and new-style ? If not then at least functionality should remain the same, so this should be added.
Cheers,

You can adjust that by pressing holding "ctrl" and pressing "+".

As with the above, I find that losing the ability to select for one's opponents is more than a little bothersome. I normally create a window from my own rating to not far above, and am sure many others have similarly arbitrary, but personally suitable, preferences.
If there's any particular reasoning behind removing this option, I'd be curious to hear what. If not, please bring it back.
