In my tournament the person who won the round was later kicked out of Chess.com, his rating was one of the lowest in the group, but he won the round regardless. I looked to find his name in the final standings and he was not even listed. I believe he cheated to win and was somehow discovered. I did not get to advance because this cheater was involved. How does chess.com find who is cheating?
Cheater keeps moving his mouse from chess.com to chess engine and gets caught. This is what i think.
No one knows for certain other than chess.com staff what the exact parameters are for detecting a cheater but lots of discussion here if you're really interested:
