Hello, I'm a class D player (1300~) and after winning my district chess tournament I am now going to be representing my district at a provincial tournament. But here's the thing, a class D player in a provincial tournament may be crushed.
So, is there any books or softwares that will improve my game or help me prepare? What other study guides should I use? What do you do to prepare for a tournament?
How much time left before the tournament? If it's just a week or two, just practice Tactics Trainer and solve problems till then.
