I've been considering trying a few USCF Correspondence Tournaments, but I honestly don't see how I would know if my opponent was cheating. It seems like cheating would be almost inevitable, and I certainly don't want to spend money entering a tournament only to be defeated by an engine. Does anyone know how cheating is prevented in these correspondence games? If so, your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
