Would anybody be interested in playing a series of online chess games, basically a classical match with a set number of games and alternating colours?
I always felt that repeat games against the same opponent are more exciting as both opponents try to learn from each other and refine their opening play, but i never tried playing an actual match.
My idea was something along the lines of: we decide a number of games (8 or 10 maybe?), we start playing one game at a time with alternating colours, the first to score >50% of the points wins. Games rated or unrated according to taste, it's a friendly match after all!
I do not want to set any rating limit for this "challenge", but just to help creating a balanced match my fide rating is around 1950 and my chess.com online rating used to hover around 2000 before a period of timeouts/very rushed play from which it still has to recover.
If anbody is interested, just post here or send a pm and we can discuss time control/langh ect.
