So, how is it possible to be on vacation in games, in which it ur turn, and not on vacation in others?
"No Vacation" tournaments were recently introduced. They are marked in the list of upcoming tournaments with an hourglass.
And if we are not referring to tounaments?
Not possible.
Good to know. I'll tell that to the next person who does that to me. Thx.
Someone did vacation to you? How is it that people manage to feel victimized by others using a feature of this site?
For games that allow vacation, when a player is on vacation there are two valid statuses.
1. Vacation
2. Waiting
All the games that would have a status of "My move!" display a status of Vacation. Any other games continue to show a status of Waiting.
When an opponent makes a move "Waiting" switches to "Vacation".
Yes, TadDude, To me. When I have played for 20 or so moves, and am a move from checkmating my opponent and am suddenly barred by "vacation", while he continues to play other people, then it is "to me". Yes, I know he has to come back sometime and I can beat him then. He has and I did. Then why did he do it. Just on the chance that, when he comes back, I won't be there, that's why. And, he could have lucked out. My computer could have crashed, I might have had to be hospitalized, had a family emergency, tragedy, or simply have lost interest in chess, whatever. I suppose, since it costs nothing, it's worth a try. To some people.
