just wondered if chess.com thought about doing a world tourney.where each country plays there own tourney then the winners from each country goes on to a tourney of the champions to find a winner,good idea ? i no it would take along time fun would be fun and you could put one day move time span on games

I'd like to see this, actually. Maybe an age range, or skill range for something to that effect?

just to make it faster put the top rated of each country in a tournament. but you would run into the problem of a top counties player not wanting to take part. so just let anyone register and only the highest rated that registerd qualifies for his country.
