Limit to games

I think there should be a limit on games one can play at one time. Currently I am playing somone who took 2 months to make his first eight moves, and now he's been on "vacation" for several weeks and still has 6 more weeks of vacation left. When I Looked up his profile, I see he is playing 57 games, all of which are in the vacation mode. I also think there should be a limit on vacation time to be used in tournament games, let's say only 10 days allowable in any one round. In a tournament you are not only inconveniencing the person you're playing with, but also all the other members of the tournament who have to wait for those who are dragging behind to be able to get to their next round. I would also like to have the option of rejecting the wins of opponents who time out very early in the game (I  hate cheap wins).

    Your assumption is wrong.

There are players with hundreds of games who cope well.

At the moment I have 44 games, I often have more than 57.

My average time per move is well under 1 hour, I have used only about 7 days vacation in 2 years, and I don't time out.

Maybe you should look for games with shorter time controls.

The great thing about playing someone who has 300-400 games is that every now and then they fail to log on and make some moves...which gives you an easy win.

    Cool

I take every win I can get.
