It was a dog eat dog world before. Now a "trial diamond member" eat dog world with the basic members having been the most recent victims.

In 11 days you have had zero registrants, except yourself.

    Unsolicited advice:

1 - Decrease the number of simultaneous games. The current number of games, 22 over two days, is likely too much for most. Many players normally play less than 22 simultaneous games.

2 - Invite or perish. The number of players rated over 1900 is very low. Within that, the number of players listed and still on the site is much lower. The number of players who would have even seen this forum topic and the entry in the massive tournament list is almost zero %.

-I have no idea what that means, but whatever.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not desperately trying to get this started.  If it takes a few more weeks, I'm perfectly OK with that. Just putting a friendly announcement out, that's all.

It was hard enough drumming up registrants before now there is a tsunami of tournaments being created by free trial Diamond members. Whether there is a connection basic members are apparently no longer allowed to create tournaments.

In case you are not aware, tournaments are cancelled if not started within 90 days of creation.
