I cannot make a move using mobile chess in the games that are of no-vacation tournaments when I'm on vacation.
I joined a few no-vacation tourneys thinking that in case something unexpected happens and the computer is not available to me, I would be able to make my moves in the games of these tourneys via mobile.
I think this issue should be fixed - otherwise timeouts in no-vacation tourneys are impossible to avoid...

I have a so-not-state-of-the-art samsung, and it works ok for me, although I'm limited to 25 moves per day. The interface is a little difficult, though, took me a little while to figure out how to make a move. Are you sure that's not your problem too?

You won't be able to move in any online games while you're marked as 'on vacation'.

I would desperately like to see the ability to change our vacation status via our mobile devices added. It's the biggest single missing feature for me.
That would be a issue for me, I'm going away for a few days next month, and assumed I could move in my no-vaction games on my mobile once per day, while putting the others on vacation.
No way to do this then? I have no timeouts in over 2000 games, and wouldn't like to start now.
This is why I'd never enter a no-vacation tournament with the current time controls that are available. There's just too much variability in the length of your games and you just can't guarantee that you'll be done all of them before you need to take some time away.
To address this I'd also love to see some additional time controls implemented that would provide more certainty around a game's length -- X moves in Y days (including time-per-game), Hourglass clocks etc.
In the mean time, I think the ability to turn vacation mode off, make your moves, and then let your timeout protection kick back in would do the job.
I just made a move using a computer against an opponent in a no-vacation tournament, before that I tried making a move via mobile - it did not allow me to do it. And I did not change any vacation settings - I'm still on vacation. I can not move in other games than those of no vacation tourneys using a computer while I am on vacation - and I understand the logic of it.
It is logical that I should be able to make moves in no-vacation tournament games while I'm on vacation - otherwise my 0% time-out ratio will have to suffer or I will have to avoid no vacation tourneys...

Nope, I have no problems making moves from my mobile, especially like this function when I need to wait for somebody outside or I'm out fishing for a weekend.
I am in a similar situation. I'll be out for a weekend, have a couple of remaining games in a 1 day/move no vacation tourney, and I don't know whether I will be able to access a computer to make my moves or not... If I could do this from my mobile, there would be no problems at all...
