Hi guys,
I want to setup a tournament for some of my friends, but some of them are basic members and are already participating in other tournaments. My question is: if a basic member finished the first round of a multi round tournament and is waiting for the other groups to finish, can he, at that point, join another unofficial tournament, even if he qualified for the next round of the original one?

No, this is not possible. Only if the basic player has completed all their games from the first tournament and they are "eliminated" from the tournament. Then the basic member could join a second tournament since they are no longer involved in the first tournament.
