What are the chances of Chess.com providing a custom Chess.com T-shirt to winners (and maybe finalists) of the Official Chess.com Tournaments?  I think it would be a great incentive for players to put their full energy into tournaments, and a great way for Chess.com to promote itself!  I know I would love to win a T-shirt that said

    1st Chess.com Quick Knockouts (1401-1600)
                           Finalist

With some witty chess quote on the other side.

So, what say you Erik et al?

that's a good idea :) we have been reluctant to provide prizes because it can encourage *cough cough* cheating :(

    t-shirts isn't a bad idea!

your appendage is worth less than $80?? just upgrade. you're already at $5 a month, so for $20 more you get your shirt...

I agree with Erik.  Save the appendage and upgrade.  I just got my Chess.com T-shirt in the mail, and it's pretty cool.  "It's more than just a game."

But a T-shirt that said "Official Tournament Finalist" or "Official Tournament Champion,"  that would be REAL COOL!!  Cuz you wouldn't be able to buy them, you'd have to earn them.  It doesn't need to say which tournament (knockouts, rating ranges, etc.) that way the same shirts could be used for all the tournaments.  Maybe the shirts could be Gold, Silver, and Bronze colored for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.  That would be cool too.  I think.
