just a preface: this is in no way a complaint about limits. I understand that there are limits and am grateful to be able to participate on this site without cost for the time being. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to support the site. I have learned a lot here.

My question is about the one online tournament limit for basic members.

Currently I am in a tournament and my games are winding down. (It's my first tournament which is probably why I don't know how this works.) It's a multi-round tournament with the top three of twelve advancing. It's likely that I'll finish at about fourth in our group. It's been a good learning experience.

After my games are finished, would I have to wait for the tournament to completely finish before signing up for another tournament or would I have to merely wait for the first round to finish?

It's not a problem in any event, I just like to know how it's all organized.

If anyone has an idea here, I appreciate the info.

Once all your own games are complete you may register in another tournament, even if you are advancing.
