Call that sick?

This 2(1)-> 1 format tournament will last from 8 to 16 years. With vacation probably closer to 16 years than 8.

By comparison this "No Vacation" 2(2)-> 1 format tournament is less than half as sick as that, since it will last only from 4 to 8 years. Without vacation probably closer to 4 years than 8.

This neverending tournament started 2008 04 10.

Be wary of tournaments with this setting "(one game per opponent starts immediately)".

And combined with "Time Control: 14 days/move".
