hey guyz can you help me with this time out ratio thing?  it says i must have a timeout ratio of not more than 5% to host a tournament.. i have 8%.. do you know how to improve timeout ratio? many thanks....

your time-out ratio is based on the number of games you let your time run off.  if you want it to lower, then play some games and finish the games.

that bieng said, if your time-out ratio is 8% and i tournament calles for 5% or less, i'm sure there's a chance the director would let you in.  just ask.  or just sign up and he'll probably not check anyway.

13/.05 = 260

260 - 154 = 106

To host tournaments you will have to complete 106 more games without timing out. Pick up the games of any new 1200 rated player you find in open seeks. You will quickly win many by timeout.

Oh i see. It may be due to my long absence where i left all my games unfinished, it's over a year i think since i last visited this site before i became active again. Nice to see this site have come a long way.
