Tournament limit though eliminated

Hi - quick question. I'm curretnly in 10 tournaments, which is the limit for my Gold membership, but in one (and likely others soon), I didn't make it through to the next round.

However, it seems to still count as one of the ten tournaments I'm allowed. Given that some of these multi-round tournaments will do doubt go on for a long time, am I stuck with it counting torwards my 10 until it's complete? If this is the case, it coudl cause a problem if you enrolled in mainly long running-multi round tournaments?

Of course, upgrading to Platinum would fix it, but was curious as to how this works?

Unfortunately for you, you are classed as still being in a tournament until that tournament is 100 % finished [whether you have been eliminated or not]

Upgrading does fix that yes Smile

Resign from the tournament if you have already finished all of your games in it?

Thanks for the tips! Interstingly, I seem to only have the option to withdraw on the tournaments which are ongoing. This option dissapears once your games are complete! So, you can either withdraw before you finish all your games, but once they are finished and you're eliminated you can't! You're then stuck until the whole thing is complete.

Guess it will have to be Platinum membership then...
