What happens if you're in a tournament where a specified number of people advance to the next round, (in the case I'm thinking of, 2 of 5) but 3 people tie?
The 3 of us won both our games against the other 2 players, and it looks like we're all going to split our games against each other dead even, meaning our scores and tiebreakers will be identical. Do all 3 of us advance, or the 2 with the highest rating?
Scarblac
All 3.
There's a known case of a four player tournament, with two groups of two, that took five rounds to finish.
Ha ha.... amazing. That's a bit longer than they expected.
Thanks much!
