I am playing a game and my opponent goes on vacation he had 2 hours left on his clock. this morning he is off vacation and he has 12 hours on his clock. He was on vacation time only overnight. So he gets vacation time and a bonus of 10 hours....what a deal.

When their game time to move gets really low, they're sent a message letting them know they're low on time.

Auto vacation then takes 1 day from their vacation time and adds it to the clock time on the game, and puts them on vacation mode.

So if he is really backed up (and he is playing 700 games) he can trade one day of vacation time for clock time.
That is still a good deal for him.

These people who play hundreds and hundreds of games a once use this alot. I hate playing against them.

He still loses vacation time so he won't have any left and may start losing his games on time.

It may be that his auto timeout protection is activating when his time is low and not him doing it.

Yes I think that is the case. But his clock stops and he can look at the games where he is in time trouble, figure out his moves and he gets more time added to his clock. Still seems wrong to me.
