What happens when you withdraw from a tournament in which you currently have no games (ie. waiting for the next round to start). Is your rating / timeout ratio affected in any way?

Nope, I've done it just to get out of tournaments that won't end.

Thanks alot guys! I just wish you could withdraw from tournaments that you've been eliminated from, because they stay on your current tournaments list until they're over and they mix me up! :(

What if you withdraw from a tournament, after all your games are over, but you're in a position to get a medal/trophy? Let's say it's a 20 person tourney, and in the final round it becomes clear that you will get exactly 3rd place.

Does withdrawal from the tournament forfeit the 3rd place trophy?

Does withdrawal from the tournament forfeit tournament points?

Yeah, I was in a tourney where the 1st place person withdrew after all his games were done. I ended up getting first in that tourney and he got last, with 0 tourney points.
