I think they played Queen's Indian Defense: Old Main Line in the game.
Oh okay, pardon the chess novice, my knowledge on openings is very limited, thanks for the clarification.

Wow! 4.5 - 1.5 Yifan is playing amazing chess with the black pieces! Two more draws and the match is over:)
It has happened before in WC matches that one of the players was on the virtue of winning the match and then started to lose grip on the match. For instance Karpov against Kasparov in the match that was interrupted. Yifan Hou is playing that good - certainly with black - that it might be over very soon.

I'm still remaining hopeful Anna will get a victory, she needed to win this game
I thought for sure that Anna would do well and keep the match close, but Yifan is playing great chess. Sometimes Yifan plays so consistently well that it's difficult for anyone to win her. She's even won the only game she played against Judit Polgar!

Mhm, she is playing well.
I too would beat Judit if given a chance, of course if I had 7 queens and she played handicap with no queen lol
In the Gibralter Tournament of 2012, where Yifan won Judit, she had a performance rating of 2872! So sometimes she's just too good, and so far in this match she's been like that.
In spite of Hou's winning this title match very easily, chances are still quite big that she won't participate in the next title match. Next year FIDE will hold another knockout World Championship of the sort Ushenina won, and these often lead to surprise winners (not only Ushenina, but also Khalifman and Kasmidzhanov spring to mind).
If Hou doesn't win the knockout she must win the Grand Prix series, and there she started with an 8-9th place without looking particularly interested, losing to below 2300 opposition. Koneru won her first tournament and just started with a win in Tashkent, so knockout winner vs Koneru is a good bet for the next title match at the moment. And who will win the knockout is as always impossible to predict.

So far she has done well, I was hoping for a little more from Anna but nevertheless, it has been entertaining.
thanks for posting the boards today sisu
i only taught myself how to do it last saturday, so it's still pretty tricky for me to do

No problem! Was a most interesting game.
Has either one of em lost by Scholar's Mate yet?
LOL ....... Nobody at GM level loses to these cheapos, even I don't lose to these tricks anymore !
I never know what form to use when reporting people. Click help and support down the bottom of the page to go hunting. This is like that guy that was advertising passports for sale... just another bot.
Who's looking forward to game seven?
Well, I guess x2_bt2_test knows how to use a gui testing tool. He has overflooded more threads with his spam.
No need to report him. He has done this in more threads, the staff will be aware of the problem. This is something every forum is uncapable of preventing.
Sour guy/girl.
It looks like that every time there is a post in some forum his script notices that and adds a post to that thread. Looks like a virus has been distributed on the servers of chess.com itself. The virus is harmless, hence it might in the end act as a good warning for chess.com.
Anna got into severe time trouble again and it cost her dearly. But what impressed me most was the accuracy of Hou to convert her advantage. Sublime to watch and hoping she can win with white in the next game to reclaim her crown.
How long will it be until FIDE scrap the knockout tournament as a way of selecting World Champion? I think this mismatch is a case in point.
