We are hosting a Youth Chess Tournament for grades K - 6 on Saturday October 15th at the Palms Rancho Park Library 2920 Overland Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90064. This free event will be limited to 30 players and advance registration at prncho@lapl.org or (310) 840-2142 is recommended. Boards and sets will be provided and Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals will be awarded in each section. Check-in will be at 10 a.m. and play will end at 3 p.m. with the prizes awarded. This should be a fun event for beginners and more experienced players.
