I saw it gets a bit difficult for members to be active in the group since the tournament started, so i thought we can make an (infinite) ladder tournament. the idea is quite simple (and not from myself...) sign up and i´ll put you in level one. challenge another member at level one for an (un-)rated game from x days. the winner gets a level up, the loser gets a level down. (but you can´t get lower than level 1).
Rules:

-          You start at level  1

-          You can only play one ladder match at a time.

-          Everyone can challenge someone out of their own level, or from one level higher then yourself.

-    You must post in this forum if you want...
1...to sign up
2...to say you´ve challenged someone
3...to give the result of the game (please together with the link of the game)

-   And to be nice, you can´t get to level 0, -1 or lower, you´ll get as low as level 1 and as high as... as good you are!

-   Please be a bit active in the group. If you are busy, you may decline the Ladder challenge, but don't keep declining from all players!

I would thank Willy_France for the rules at post #13.
Good luck, and if you´ve got questions, ask them!

well, you can now challenge each other (however i think you play enough games against Willy France and me Wink), but if there are more members you can tell in this forum you´ve challenged, or are gonna challenge someone, and...let´s play!

The list up is the ladder i presume!

In that case i 'm level 1 so i gues to create level 2 i should challenge someone !
Let's see

- 1st Ladder Tournament - challenge for level 2 - challenge request sent to zheka2005 (random color) 3 days moves.

And let's get someone go to level 2, think i got it Laughing

I gues the amount of winning matches minus the lost matches (but not lower then 1) til as high as someone can have the his/hers best positive balance of winning. can then be high i think.
But Dekker correct me if i'm wrong!

Euh, good question!

Well, you should see it as a ladder with infinite ´levels´.

But you can only challenge someone who is also in the same level.

And Willy_France was right!

To all,

Because people want to know everything!
And I have to say that Dekker is waking me up to be active to improve, so here’s what I think!

I would be happy to see some comments about it.

                       The ladder tournament.

How high can you get between winning and losing, special interesting when streaks are going on!

-          You start at level  1

-          You can only play one ladder match at a time.

-          Everyone can challenge someone out of their own level, or from one level higher then yourself.

-          Challenges have to be reported in the 1st Ladder Tournament comments

-          Results of the match have to be reported also.
(preferable with link to it)

-          The winner will go one level up, and the loser one level down.
(you can only not go lower then 1)

I think this can be added
(or something like this)

-          Reaction time so the challenged player can react  should be at least 7 days

-          If someone refuses 5 challenges of 5 different players, in one serie he or she will go a level down.

At least that’s how I see it for easy understanding and I think this is going to be fun.

to  MICK952: now you´ve joined the tourney, you can challenge someone from your level (1) or the level above you. then you post in this forum you´ve challenged the person and you can play. the other way round is of course also possible, if someone challenge you, you click at the accept-button and let´s play.

the rules at post #1 would make everything clear, i think...

I can not challenge, no one is in my level Innocent
