  This ladder has now been fully merged into the New GrayMatter Ladder and all games that were in process on this old ladder when the new ladder began have been completed.

As noted previously, players on the 5-day ladder to join the new 2-day ladder before tomorrow, Monday Feb 2nd, will get placed on the same relative rung as the original ladder instead of the bottom rung.  Early bird and the worm and all that!

Each Player can play two game at a time. He or She may challange a higher rung and accect a challange from a lower rung.

OK, looks like everything has been updated.

There was some confusion and strange things that happened in terms of getting everyone from the 5-day ladder who has joined the 2-day onto an appropriate rung.  We had previously said that they would enter this one in the same relative position they had on the other one if they indicated that by today, Feb 2nd.  But we actually went live with the 2-day ladder on the 1st and some challenges had already been issued that wouldn't have been valid (because of # of challengable rungs allowed) today.  My mistake (well, it always does seem to be management's fault, doesn't it!?! ).  We've done the best we could, but it isn't perfect... 

And don't forget: It's about chess - but it's not just about chess and it's definitely not just about you..."
