Apparently no one at University is on form...  Bugger.  I have a win against an ungraded and a draw with a 140 (absolute cock-up on my part) so I'm sticking to my grade it seems.

Speaking of League chess.  Has anyone played UWE's Cedrik Hee yet?

Ah right.  I've only got 2!  Frown

I've just seen that we play UWE on the 28th October and Pete's play them on the 2nd Nov.  Gutted for them that they're going to lose 2 in a row!

Haha.  Humour in the face of defeat.  How brave of you!  You and me should be a pretty striking game.  Blaxsaw v bluechessmaster could be a veeery slow boring affair.  I don't know who'll be on the bottom 2 boards for us yet.

Well yes, our game shall be good! I'm still thinking what opening to play, also, are we away when we play you next, or are we home?

I believe you're coming to the University first.  Therefore, your board 1 (whoever that is Innocent) plays as white!

lol, good one Tom.  To be honest, I'm concerned that after a day of uni I'll fall asleep at the board facing one of Pete's dry Colles.

I'm interesting to see what novelties you bring to the game.  I could just throw a spanner in the works with something like 1. e4 c6, 1. d4 f5, 1. c4 b6 etc.

I can't wait to December to find out!  Besides, if you give me a hint I might prepare something too for it, rather than just trying to avoid somehting I suspect you know Tongue out

I kinda think you may be prematurely dismissing Pete as board 1. Or maybe I may have another player in mind. Or maybe we won't come at all.  Only I know.

As  coach, captain and driver I don't think you can discount me.

hahahahahaha
