50 move rule?

    I was under the understanding that 50 moves by each player without a pawn move or a capture is a draw. Is this right? I'm in a debate with a guy in a tourney game!

    check the link, it's in the rules (9.3), if you make 50 moves without capture or pushing a pawn, the offer draw button should be replaced with a claim draw button.
