    If white plays Nf3 then ...Bg4 seems to give very active play to Black.

    After 14.Qe2 whites LSB is trapped after 14...c4. Here's a game that shows how to exploit the 15. Nf3 pin. Thanks for posting this line.Cool

    what to remember?it's pretty straightforward.

    Of course white has alternatives and can avoid it(8.Nf3 instead of 8.Bd3 or 12.Qh4 instead of 12.Qd1) but Black has ways to get a good game even against these. For example:

    I know it's not much....but my memory is terrible and plus I don't get to practice this line much anyway since most people don't play 3.Nc3 against the french (at my level,that is....)
