A few things.

My apologies on the bad link I sent everyone Embarassed dunno how that happened.

It would be great to hear any ideas on what could be done with this group. Eg. "Hopefully we can create a sort of group/team ladder type tournament" one interesting suggestion already.

I hope that everyone feels free to start threads about anything they want. You all know how tricky it can be to generate group activity but you are mostly pretty active chess.com members so we have no excuse for difficulties here Smile

If any of you have admins in your group, you are welcome to invite them to join this group [edit: nevermind we decided against this idea] . Also I couldn't send an invite to 48 pages worth of group managers so If any of you have a friend who runs a group that isn't here, please invite them.

I dunno. I'll have to think about it.  See what other members think.  Should we allow admins or just keep it managers?

well, if it was called group managers and admins then yes, but because it isn't, no and I like small groups....

I would leave it as just the managers. At least we have a place to meet and make suggestions without outside disturbance. True?

Yeah, sounds logical.  I just thought that because admins are a part of the decision making process and can change and improve a group, that they may be able to contribute to and learn from this group. Although there seems to be a better argument for keep them out so o.k we'll just keep it to managers.

I agree - a smaller group of just managers would be more logical.

The way i look at it is that what ever we discuss in this group can be relayed back to the rest of the other players and if they have a suggestion, the managers can relay it back on here and be open for discussion amongst us to see if we can improve on something or just leave it alone.

Managers can have access to the admins and can message them when input is needed or there is a request.
