I just joined.  Is the group active?  I see the last forum post was 30 days ago.

Not as active as I'd like it to be, but we do run regular tournaments. The last two just started a couple of days ago. I'd really like people to post their games here, and we're gradually getting more and more folk of a higher rating like yourself, so it is useful for everyone if we could all chip in.

Perhaps we can push people to contribute a little more for the benefit of all.

Any themed tournaments you'd be particularly interested in?

Thank you for the response and the welcome.

I am preparing for the FIDE World Amateur championship, so I am limiting my game play now so that I can study.  All the same, thank you for the offer on themed tournaments!

What I will do though, is analyze some of my games and post them here (also helps me study).  Someone might learn from it, and I hope that some or all, criticize it so that I can learn from my mistakes.  I will post a game in a few days, will start analysis tonight.
