HI everyone! Ok, since I have become an Admin, I have taken aggressive steps into recruiting new members. I have visited several other N.J. Chess groups, including Team New Jersey and Team USA: Northeast, and have gone through their member lists quite deep, asking and inviting anyone to join this group. So far, two have joined and we are on the cusp of 100 players. If there is anyone that you know online who is not a part of this team, or is looking for a team that has localized members, let us know here or send me or Ghost a message, and we'll send them an invite. I didn't even realize that there were that many NJ teams.

  There are quite a few out there, but it seems we are the biggest one at 99 members. I must've put at least 10 invites to people over the past 24 hours or so. I tried all of the keywords like "New Jersey" or "Garden State" while looking for other groups and I went through all of them, so after the invites get responded to, we'll know how many are out there from N.J.  Although there are some that say U.S. but don't give the state they are from, so there might be others that we don't know about, unless we post in the General Public Forums.

  Good morning everyone!

     As you all know, I have been recruiting for the past few days and today, I have invited three Masters to our group as well, and another member or two as well. I might be going a little over the edge here but I am going to cool off about it. I think, if the three Masters join, it will be good for our team in upcoming matches. If anyone has any thoughts about this, feel free to voice your opinions about it. Thanks.

Great job Mark! I've been wanting to make it to 100 members for the longest time. Thank you for the help. We have 100 members now we can just coast.

   Thanks TJ! I went looking on maps, for other players and Masters as well. But there are still quite a few invites out there, so, we'll give it until Sunday or so if they take longer to make decisions, we'll know by Monday the latest.

well, it doesn't look like the other 10 or so invites(including the 3 masters) are not going to happen. That's a bummer. I was kind of hoping for them. I'll have to try in another week.
